I just wanted to talk about the incredible time i had visiting Yeti Farm creative a few days ago. It was so interesting walking through the studio seeing everyone so hard at work, and glad to see my good friend Shane Bailes who is now working at Yeti Farm. Shelves of toys lined each empty space which so interesting to see what everyone had contributed to the massive collection.
They had two floors on the building working on 3 projects, each project they were working on had about 50 artists hard at work and glued to their monitors.
After the tour was over we each had time to ask some questions, i found out about something called a pitch bible which is just reference material for the screenwriters about characters and story elements, which i think would be extremely useful to me. Our guide Todd also talked about how he recommended registering our original projects in film festivals if we are looking to get our shows picked up. In addition he gave us all advice for our demo reels, to try too keep them under a minute and that we don't need it to be too flashy, just focus on showing your best animations.
I had and incredible time at Yeti Farm, it would such an incredible place to work if they were not the studio responsible for the Snack Time cartoons that played before every youtube video for like 2 years straight. But great place!

Oh.... Hello there
Hi, my name's Kory and 2D animator from Calgary Alberta. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember and love creating new characters and immersive worlds.
